The Creative Journey: From CapCut to Illustrator, Leveling Up as an Editor
My journey as an editor got even more exciting when I started exploring Illustrator after diving into After Effects. Illustrator is totally different—it taught me how to create vector designs, logos, icons, and illustrations that can be used anywhere. The tools are super detailed, and the images stay sharp no matter how much you zoom in. Usually, I create graphic elements in Illustrator, then export them to After Effects for animation, or to Photoshop for finishing touches.
Combining CapCut, Photoshop, After Effects, and Illustrator makes me feel like I have a complete set of tools to create anything. From videos, photos, animations, to graphic designs, I can explore and mix everything as needed. Each tool has its own challenges, but that’s exactly what makes the editor’s journey so interesting.
Now, I’m even more convinced that being an editor is all about constantly learning and not being afraid to try new things. The journey is still long, but I’m always excited to upgrade my skills and create even cooler works!
